The Toyota 70 series LandCruiser is the Gen Y or Millennial of the LandCruiser line up. It took over from the 40 & 45 series in 1984 with a more angular look while keeping the basic styling feel. In the early years the 70 series was manufactured in both “Light Duty” and “Heavy Duty”
The “Light Duty” series were made from 1985 to 1996 in SWB & MWB and bore the model name Bundera, Land Cruise II and Prado
The “Heavy Duty” series started production in 1984 and is currently in production as of 2020. Body types available are 73, 74 75, 77, 76, 78, 79
